MY CHILDHOOD AND ADULTHOOD PARAGRAPH
Human life is very transient. In this short span of time we pass through basically four stages—childhood, adulthood, middle age and old age. I have already experienced my childhood. Now I am an adult person. In my spare time or solitary time I often get absorbed in recollecting the sweet and bitter experiences of my childhood. Life in childhood was totally carefree and full of joy. I still recollect my parents’ affectionate embrace, sweet words. I was my parents’ first child. As such I was their world. They poured all their affection upon me. I occupied their mental world. They tried their best to satisfy all my desires and demand. During my childhood spending time with friends was so to say a divine thing. It was pure delight. We indulged ourselves in various games and sports and enjoyed divine joy. I think children enjoy life most delightfully because they have no worries or anxieties or do not face the reality of adulthood. Besides my parents’ quarrelling made me very sad. Now I am going through my adulthood. I am to face the realities of life. Now I have to perform my duties and responsibilities. I have to study a lot. Now I cannot do everything according to my wishes or whims. Now I am to be prepared for my future life and take up a profession. Now I cannot enjoy pure delight of childhood because worries and anxieties of future life disturb or spoil such enjoyment. To get rid of the harsh reality of my present time I often dive into the sweet memories of my childhood and get lost for some time.
